Back Story!: This is an RP chat based off of the game No More Heroes for the Nintendo Wii.

Here's the basic plotline from the game: The story follows Travis Touchdown, who is a stereotypical otaku—his motel room decorated with professional wrestling and anime collectibles—living in near poverty in the No More Heroes motel of Santa Destroy, California. After winning a beam katana in an internet auction, he becomes a hitman. When he runs out of money to buy video games, he accepts a job to kill the 'Drifter' aka Helter Skelter, which earns him rank 11 by the UAA, a governing body of assassins. Realizing that he has now made himself a target for aspiring assassins, he sets out to secure himself the coveted position of number one hitman in the UAA

Basically, in this room, you are an assassin in Santa Destroy, under careful watch fromt he UAA. Your goal? To become Number One. Once you become number one, that can never be taken away from you. Even if someone else reaches the same rank, it can always be known that you are both the very best of the best. In order to ascend in rank, you will have to participate in a ranked fight against an obscure side character (quite possibly pulled from the game) controleld by me. If you arerying to take osmeone's rank from them in doing this, then both of you will fihght against the same opponent and whoever does the best shall receive the rank. This is to avoid character killing as much as possible, otherwise many many characters would die, and there would be an abundance of arguments, and lots of people would get banned very quickly. I don't want that to happen.

Rules

In Character Rules

- No God-Moding. Your character cannot be super powered. No killing massive amounts of people in seconds. No power playing, no auto hits, and you cannot block every time. Things like this are severely frowned upon in the roleplaying world.

- There are virtually no fantasy characters allowed in this roleplay. The rp is set in the world we live in now. No Elves, magic, anthro, etc. Human!

- Weapons will be limited. Your character cannot have 5 guns, knifes, grenades, and a sawed off shotgun on their back. You can only carry one kind of weapon, relative to your character. No bazooka and samurai sword combo. That would just be... stupid.

EDIT 12/26 Any and All characters are subject to Character Death. We realize that this may venture on the side of god-modding, but that is not the purpose of the rule. The room is built upon death and destruction. I'm sure if you really don't want your character to die, then you can work it out with whomever you are rping with. But you must understand. Death is a very important and large part of this room. You play an assassin after all. You kill people... othe rpoeple will, in turn, want to kill you back. It's not going to be a frequent occurence, but nonetheless, every now and then, someone WILL have to die.

when talking OOC (out of character, put a bracket at the end of your post, such as ])}. This helps us know the differenc ebetween who is and isn't in an rp.

- Being rude and obnoxious is just wrong. If the founders catch wind of a reoccurring offender, you will be warned and then banned.

- Tying into the previous rule, please be respectful to other members. That includes beliefs, ideas, ect. EDIT: There is to be no talk of drugs, drug use, alcohol use, strong sexual content and innuendos, politics, or religious talk in the room, seeing as how it may offend or make people uncomfortable. Unless it relates directly to an rp, it outta here.

- In this room, I AM GOD. No getting around it. Don't annoy me, or I will rain vengeance and wrath upon you.

- Please try to use proper grammar and punctuation when posting and when OOC. It's understandable to forget punctuation when speaking with friends but over use of '.........' only takes up space in posting. Please keep spelling errors to a minimum.

- We're sorry to say this, but no one is perfect at everything. Your skills don't need to be as long as your life story. And if your list of skills is very long in your character profile, please provide where and when your character learned these skills.

- Pertaining Weaknesses: Saying ‘regular weaknesses’ such as they die if they are shot, or susceptible of infection, ect are not viable weakness. They need to have something else such as a bum leg, asthma, short term memory, panic attacks, chronic fear of the dark, something like that. The fact that they can die, is not a good enough weakness. Like, seriously. "My character is weak against bullets!" or "My character dies when a knife stabs him in the heart" will not cut it.

One final footnote, please be original with your characters. One of the ones fromt he game was an old woman with a shopping cart that turned into a huge laser cannon! If I get people saying they're a ninja, or that they are master of the katana, I will insult them pointedly. It's MODERN DAY. How many ninjas do oyu see out on the streets? If you see any, you're either high or in a messed up town.
