This is a journal containing descriptions of areas in a city called Skyless City for a chat.

Gas Town: Gas Town is considered the old part of the city, containing buildings which are nearly all between 50 and 100 years old. It contains a mixture of apartments and small stores. It is reasonably busy as it is attached to the 'Hub' or downtown area of Skyless City, the busiest part of town.

The Hub: The Hub is a widely used slang term for the downtown center of Skyless city. It contains many shops, restaurants and cafes, and is the busiest part of town. The Hub received its name because it is the center of town, with connections to all of the major streets which extend away from it like spokes from a wheel's hub.

Statue Plaza: A small area containing major department stores as well as a monument to the founders and CEOs of the major factories in the city. They had the monument erected and it has statues of all 12 of the major factory owners, standing in a line, side by side in the center of the plaza. One of the statues has been defaced and damaged and is no longer very recognizable.

Fog Land: Fog Land is a nickname for a small district in Skyless City. It gets its nickname from a thick fog which covers it at all times. This fog is made from vapours which float up from anearby canal. The canal is constantly steaming because of the boiling factory run-off which is emptied into the canal, causing steam when it meets with the cold water. The area has a parking lot which is well outside the fog, since they don't want cars driving through since the low visibility could cause accidents. Fog Land is home to many shady stores and homeless people. It is known for illegal activity and the selling of outlawed goods.

Industrial Road: Industrial Road is where 11 of the city's 12 major factories are. The area is dank and dirty and it is the darkest area of the city, since it is the source of the smog. The road is generall walked by jaded and tired factory workers, sick of their work and depressed by their jobs. It is a magnet for Noise, attracted by the negative feelings and there are many cursed people there.

The Blue Sky Coproration building: The city's 12th major factory. behind the factory and production areas, there is an enormous office building between the factory's smokestacks. This factory is the largest and most successful in Skyless City (although no one buys its products anymore). The corporation has been protested many times to no avail because it causes the most pollution of all the factories. Its owner has not left the building in years and his statue is the one that has been defaced in The Statue Plaza, so no one's entirely certain what he looks like anymore. The gates are always closed and locked, and nothing is ever seen coming or going except shipping trucks which leave from the back. Although the CEO is never seen, he is considered the most powerful man int he city, and is believed to be involved in secretive organized crime.

The Underground: The Underground is an underground complex with some small stores attached to the subway which can be used to commute across town. The subway is usually broken down however, and rarely available for use. There's rumours that the subway has a hidden tunnel network containing routes used by advocates of organized crime. The conspiracy theorists believe that one of those hidden tunnels leads to the Blue Sky Corporation.

Carnaval de Estrellas: This is a large pier on the coast. On the pier is a largee carnival style theme park area which runs all year round since it never snows. This area is extremely popular and gets alot of business because it is the only area in town where the sky can be seen, but only at night. At night when the factories aren't running full speed, he smog above the city recedes anough that out across the water, the stars and sometimes even the moon can be seen jutting out from behind the smoke. The Carnival has many lights and is the brightest area in town. There are very few noise there.
